Error creating configuration file

When I'm trying to install Torin's Passage, I get the error mentioned in the topic title after it asks me which sound drive to use. I'm going insane trying to figure out how to fix this.

Update: I tried running the setup from the .bat file and the setup closes after I choose to run the tests. During these tests, I get the "error creating configuration file" nonsense and I don't think the program has been successfully installed because nothing pops up when I try to run it. What do I do?

Alright, I sent you the error screenshot along with some of the steps I took in the process for both the install.bat and the regular setup files.

For what it's worth, my normal OS is Windows Vista.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but it seems related to DOSBox and not CBoxRun. If you ask on the DOSBox Games/Apps section of VOGONS, someone may be able to help you:
